A sneak peak

Thought you might like to see a sample of what the new site design is going to look like…

Some details of it might change before I unveil the whole site but that’s pretty much what it’s going to look like. It’s less, um, colourful than before (the whole site is pretty much the new, natural tones instead of the old separate colour scheme for each section) but the pages fill the screen and there will be added information in many sections, to make use of that new space.

As old as my tongue

But slightly older than my teeth…

Just realized that I’m exactly half as old as Queen Elizabeth today. Weird the things you notice sometimes. Always knew we had the same birthday but could never remember her age.

That makes both of us mighty old. Mighty, mighty old. :-D

Surprises in the works

The matron is getting a new computer in the next week or two (thank her exceptionally generous parents for that). This means there’s a better than average chance that the web site redesign will go a lot faster than it currently is which in turn means that updates will happen a lot sooner than currently projected. All of which is Good News.

It also means we might be able to swing some extra special stuff on the site. Not just some of the stuff you’ve been waiting for but…no, better not divulge the details just in case there are problems and the surprises have to be abandoned.

But you’ll like them, that much I can promise. If and when they appear on the site, you’ll like them. ‘Nuff said. ;-)
